Today, we left central Poland and travelled down to Kraków for a final weekend of sight seeing and learning about the history of Poland. Tomorrow, we go to Wawel Castle, the seat of Polish kings. Sunday we have a guided tour of the Jewish district. Tonight, we had a feast at Hamsa, an Israeli restaurant.

I remember going to this restaurant Hamsa. It was the year we met in Krakow, Poland with Professor Stephen Berk. Proud of you Marysia. Have been reading your emails daily. I just wish our mutual Great Great Grandfather’s cemetery was addressed. It is shocking how that land was repurposed. Your Canadian cousin, Ellen.

I’m thinking of you, Ellen, as I walk the same streets where we met in Kazimierz

Thank you for correcting me. I had to ask Dr. Google where Kazimierz is. It is Krakow’s historic Jewish quarter. I remember you waited at our drop off bus stop and joined us as a guest. I can see you in my mind waiting for me to get off the bus. In the restaurant, is where a memorable photo was taken of the two of us. Be well and Shabbat Shalom my cousin, Ellen.
